My first Bridge to Bridge Loop! Killed it!!

Since I've been riding with Zwift, I've gotten very confident with hills. If you know anything about east Vallejo, there are a lot of hills!! My go to place for riding is Benicia. On this day, I wanted to launch from Benicia and do the Bridge to Bridge Loop! I killed it. Yes, there was hills. 1,398 ft of elevation!

I've been longing to take the jump and do it.

Mare Island Tour

On this day, I decided to take a trip to Mare Island. I even decided to ride over Highway 37. Yes, it can be done. There is a path on the bridge that allows you to go over it safely.

2017 BMC Team Machine ALR01

Did it again...

Just happened to be on eBay and could NOT pass up on this amazing deal. I bought me another bike! I am now the owner of a 2017 BMC TeamMachine ALR01. The bike is retail for $2100, but bought it for $999. I think the seller posted the bike incorrectly. He had other bikes for auction well below the retail just like this was prices. Fortunately for me I saw "Buy It Now", so I did! It will be arriving on December 11th.

This bike will be the bike I use on my Wahoo Trainer. This will also be taken on trips if I ever need to fly. The Cervelo will be my main squeeze, but I have a terrific number two!

I'm going in BIG!!

On a recent trip to Montreal I visited Cycle Technique. CT is one of the best bike shops in Montreal. I was very fortunate to be able to talk bikes with one of the guys who works there. He helped me pick out an Endurance Bike. Endurance because I wasn't about to compete in any races but I do plan to go on long rides with friends.

Becuase the service was great, I decided to get the bike from CT. I went with the Cervelo C3. Here are two pictures below.

I will be picking the bike up on December 16th. I cannot wait to get it home! These are all pictures I found on eBay of the same bike!

Longest Ride so far!

It was such a great morning that I decided to drive a little bit to get a new ride in. I've been using the web to find new trails and there are a TON in Bay Area. I've been checking out the Berkeley Marina recently and decided I would head there today.

As you can see, I parked on the city streets. It's free and there were a few other people who did the same thing too! Berkeley is cool because bikes are welcomed in the city and there are a lot signs for bike path and there are a lot of bikers already!

In this pic I tried to get the 3 key points of interest. The Golden Gate, the new Eastern Span of the Bay Bridge, and the always changing SF Skyline.
